One coordinated path for care abroad. Veteran Matters manages appointments, paperwork, claim submission, and follow-up within your authorization.
Contact us with your city, preferred contact method, and the type of care you need. We arrange intake and obtain your consent and authorization for coordination and document sharing.
We review your FMP benefits documentation and requested care, identify provider options, and clarify expected charges and payment arrangements before scheduling. The provider confirms clinical suitability and any referral requirements.
Veteran Matters coordinates the date, location, and intake requirements with you and the clinic. Your licensed provider evaluates you, develops the treatment plan, and delivers care.
Your provider supplies signed clinical notes, supporting records, and an itemized invoice. We review the package for completeness and consistency and coordinate any missing information or corrections.
With your authorization, Veteran Matters prepares and submits the claim package, completes the required forms, and maintains the submission record. We handle FMP communication and requests for additional information.
We track the claim, communicate updates, and reconcile the payment with the invoice and authorized recipient. Any receipt or remittance of funds by Veteran Matters follows the written agreement.
Before referrals begin, we confirm credentials, services, appointment availability, language support, written rates, documentation requirements, and payment terms. Providers deliver clinical care and send clinical records and invoices to Veteran Matters; our team handles authorized claim preparation, form submission, and FMP follow-up.
VA determines FMP coverage and claim payment. Approval, reimbursement, and processing times are not guaranteed. Charges and payment arrangements are confirmed for each case before care proceeds.
